Call For A Bondi Massacre Royal Commission

Letter of Condolence

Letter of Condolence

Letter of Condolence

We are deeply saddened by the horrific antisemitic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach on 14 December 2025, during a Hanukkah celebration.

Fifteen innocent lives were stolen in this act of hatred targeting the Jewish community, with 38 others injured - including two brave policemen and several innocent non-Jewish Australians.

Our heartfelt condolences go to the families and loved ones of the victims, and to all affected by this national tragedy.

In this time of profound grief, the community stands united with you. Cherished memories will endure, but justice requires action.

Prime Minister Albanese is avoiding the full accountability Australia needs by refusing a federal Royal Commission—opting instead for a limited review while a state inquiry proceeds. This is unacceptable. Victims' families, business leaders, former judges, and Australians from all walks demand a comprehensive national inquiry into intelligence failures, rising antisemitism, radicalisation, and prevention.

We call for immediate leadership: Establish a Commonwealth Royal Commission now.

With Deepest sympathy and resolve,

Chris Garnaut

Our Purpose

Our Purpose

Our Purpose

This website hosts a registry of corporations, organisations, business leaders, and individuals who have openly called for a federal Royal Commission into the Bondi Beach attack of 14 December 2025. This growing call for a federal Royal Commission includes 64 Olympians and sporting stars, union leaders, 32 security and military experts, 139 Judges/Barristers and countless current and former politicians including the Human Rights Commissioner and a number of former Governor-General. Countless individual Australians believe in national cohesion and it is our duty, as Patriotic Australians, to hold the Albanese Government accountable.

Since Federation in 1902, the federal government has established over 135 such commissions to investigate matters of national importance, ensuring accountability and prevention of future failures. We must continue to apply pressure until a Royal Commission is called.

The site will serve as a central hub, allowing people to view who supports the cause PUBLICLY, connecting like-minded advocates together, as well as direct those who wish to support the movement to the public petition. It is important for Australia to unite in a powerful stand against rising antisemitism and division, shining a light on truth, holding powerful politicians accountable and committed to building a safer and more inclusive Australia.

Many CULTURES, Many BELIEFS, One AUSTRALIA.

DISCLAIMER: We are delighted to see so many powerful leaders speak up on behalf of this most vital call for A federal Royal Commission . All of the names in the signatories section of the website have been obtained from public information/ media outlets / press releases .

We at Fawkner Property are proud to stand alongside these Australian leaders  showing the moral conviction required at this tragic time for the Australian Jewish Community .

Mounting Calls for a
Commonwealth Royal Commission

01

22-Dec-25

Labor MP's

"I’d be concerned that federal agencies might feel that they wouldn’t have the ability to participate fully in a state-based inquiry. Let’s remove the uncertainty and have a proper and thorough look at this."

22-Dec-25

Liberal / National Party

"Only a Commonwealth Royal Commission has the power, scope and authority to examine the full picture... Australians deserve the truth about how this was allowed to happen."

02

03

23-Dec-25

Teal MP's

"We therefore urge you to announce a federal royal commission into the recent terrorist attack, to update Australia’s national Criminal Code as previously proposed by the Member for Wentworth, and to provide additional funding to ensure the safety of the Australian Jewish community."

29-Dec-25

Australian Judges / Barristers

"A departmental review does not offer the same degree of independence, transparency, or public authority as a royal commission established under statute."

04

05

29-Dec-25

Victims Families

"We, the families of those killed and injured in the Bondi Beach massacre, call on the prime minister to immediately establish a Commonwealth royal commission into the rapid rise of antisemitism in Australia following Hamas’ attack on October 7, 2023, and the law enforcement, intelligence, and policy failures that led to the Bondi Beach massacre."

29-Dec-25

Mick Keelty - Former AFP Commissioner

"Only a royal commission will shed light on Bondi."

06

07

30-Dec-25

Jewish Community & ECAJ

"We believe that as many have already noted, the arguments against such a Royal Commission not only are unconvincing and misconceived, but perhaps more importantly deny the urgent need to tackle the evil of antisemitism in the interests of unity and social cohesion in Australia."

01-Jan-26

Lorraine Finlay - Human Rights Commissioner

"The Bondi terrorist attack was driven by antisemitism. Confronting that directly must be a national priority… A federal royal commission is essential to fully understand what has happened and ensure it never happens again."

08

09

02-Jan-26

Australian Business Leaders

"We call on the Australian Government to immediately establish a Commonwealth Royal Commission as a first step towards taking Australia forward with a meaningful, practical plan of action."

02-Jan-26

Timothy Costelloe - Archbishop of Perth

"alongside the Richardson review, some form of wider, national inquiry with sufficient authority and resourcing which can probe into the deeper issues which lie at the heart of antisemitism is needed."

10

11

04-Jan-26

Australian Athletes / Olympians

"We call on the Australian government to immediately establish a Commonwealth Royal Commission into anti-Semitism, radicalisation and the events leading up to the Bondi massacre, as well as take other immediate action to protect the public."

05-Jan-26

Mark Bishop - Former Labor MP

"I think a royal commission is now the appropriate solution and the only way to go forward."

12

13

05-Jan-26

Australian Business Councils & Associations

"We support a Royal Commission, with appropriate terms of reference, that integrates with state efforts and has a clear reporting date or dates, to be called as soon as possible."

07-Jan-26

Defence and Security Leaders

"After the Bondi atrocity we call on the Albanese government to immediately establish a Federal Royal Commission into antisemitism and Islamist extremism. The Royal Commission must have the authority to inquire into all aspects of the rise of antisemitism in Australia following the Hamas attack on Israel on 7 October 2023."
